Frequently Asked
How often should I take lessons?
This totally depends on your goals and your budget. Some singers take lessons once a week or every other week, while some take lessons more than once per week. However if you are new to singing, I recommend having lessons once a week to make sure you're establishing all the new ideas and techniques.
Do you only teach professionals or do you accept beginners as well?
How do you structure the lessons?
Do I need a microphone for online lessons?
Are online lessons as effective as in-person lessons?
You can easily book lessons by either contacting me directly via phone or by sending me a message on the website and I will get back to you asap.
Yes! The teaching platforms that we use have specific settings for music lessons which will help me hear your voice as clearly as in-person lessons.
Absolutely! I teach all levels and ages (above 9 years old)
Your phone (to record your lesson for in-person students, and to play background music for online lessons), water, a song you like singing and positive energies to get the most out of your experience!
I'm a classically trained singer, but I'm stuck with my operatic voice. Can I ever sing contemporary styles? (pop, rock, etc)
No, your computer/phone's built-in microphones are enough for our lessons. External microphones will create a better sound but are not necessary.
Absolutely! I went to school for that so you wouldn't have to and I'm a living proof of an opera singer singing in a band now! We will train you to use all your voice's potentials (belt, chest/mix voice) to sing any genres and not just rely on your classical head/mix voice.
What should I prepare for my first lesson?
How can I book a lesson?
We start our lessons with some breathing exercises (especially on the first couple of sessions) and then I will warm up your voice with vocal exercises that are designed specifically based on your needs/goals. Then I will guide you with vocal techniques while you sing your song(s) . At the end of the lesson you will receive a lesson summary and your custom-built recorded warmups, which will be updated as we go on.
